The museum follows the guiding thread of “Water, City, Culture, and Sentiment” to systematically present Nanxi’s historical roots as an ancient city along the Yangtze River, its commercial prosperity, its humanistic arts, and the inheritance of its intangible cultural heritage.
The museum occupies a site area of 5,500 square meters, with a total floor area of approximately 8,500 square meters. The main structure is a four-story frame building, housing functions including reception, main exhibition areas, temporary exhibition areas, cultural and creative zones, and storage. Its collection comprises 1,364 movable cultural relics.
For this project, we supplied the museum with a total of 35 display cases, including freestanding cases, single-unit counters, and wall-mounted cases. The Nanxi District Museum project once again confirms our capability to provide end-to-end customized solutions for comprehensive modern museums—from planning to implementation—using our professional expertise to help local cultural institutions narrate vivid and enduring stories of their city.
Our Comprehensive Customized Solutions
1.For Precious Paintings, Calligraphy & Paper Artifacts
We supplied sealed climate-controlled display cases. These cases integrate a precise environmental control system that maintains fluctuations within an extremely narrow safety range for artifact preservation. They are equipped with a professional LED lighting system offering 99% ultraviolet filtration.
2.For Folk Artifacts & Intangible Cultural Heritage Scenes
We designed combination display cases and custom platforms in various forms. These included recessed connected cases,independent horizontal cases, and specially shaped scene platforms.
3.For Medium/Large Key Artifacts (e.g., jade, bronze, fossils)
We provided a series of freestanding and wall-mounted display cases. Utilizing ultra-clear low-reflection glass, they maximize the presentation of artifact details.
This is a museum’s custom-designed dedicated freestanding display case for key artifacts. The case is enclosed by full-height, high-transparency anti-glare glass and paired with a light-toned display platform and a minimalist dark frame. It ensures the safety and protection of the exhibits while allowing the jade carvings inside to become the visual focal point.
We participated throughout the entire process in the on-site installation and exhibition layout of the museum’s display cases. The accompanying image shows our team installing the full-height glass cover for a freestanding display case.
